Cartwheeling Crustacean is an original abstract wall sculpture cut from a single piece of plywood, painted in acrylic and finished with high-gloss resin pour that gives the surface a luminous, glass-like depth. Fluid loops and organic curves in vivid green, cobalt blue, sky blue and yellow intertwine across the shaped form, with flashes of orange and red adding warmth and contrast.

The open negative spaces between the curving arms are as much a part of the composition as the painted surfaces themselves, allowing the wall to become part of the work. Dot accents in blue and orange punctuate the flowing forms, adding rhythm and a sense of playful precision to this genuinely sculptural piece.
