Wood Nymph Lodge is a serene square abstract painting with the feeling of dappled light and leafy shelter. A sweeping arc of deep forest green curves down from the top and around the lower right, cradling a luminous yellow-green interior. At the upper right, a bold blue vertical form paired with a red-orange block suggests a doorway or window — a way in, or perhaps a view out. Delicate incised linework traces through the green brushwork, and two dots — one red, one dark green — sit quietly on the warm cream-white ground.
Of the series, this is the most quietly contemplative, a painting that rewards a second look.

Hanging Height Guide
