Pixie Bunker is a square abstract painting with more going on inside than first appears. A bold forest green arc sweeps down from the top and drips at the base, but rather than a simple interior, it reveals a layered composition of warm beige, blush pink and deep burgundy, bisected by a sharp orange-red vertical stripe, almost architectural, like rooms or partitions. Scattered dark green and white dots punctuate the surface, delicate incised linework traces through the green brushwork, and an amber-orange bar anchors the bottom edge.
Of the series, this is the most complex and considered, a painting that reveals more the longer you look.

Hanging Height Guide
