Perky Piglet Brigade: The Perky Piglets were excited by the prospect of their first trip to market!
Perky Piglet Brigade is a large horizontal abstract painting that fills the wall with colour, movement and cheerful procession. Fluid blue outlines define a parade of interlocking rounded forms marching across the canvas, each one its own character, filled with warm ochre, amber-gold, vivid red, orange, fresh green and pale yellow against a bright white ground. Scattered navy dots punctuate the surface, and the composition has an irresistible left-to-right momentum, as if the brigade has somewhere to be and is very enthusiastic about getting there.
At 760 x 1500mm this is a painting with real presence, ideal for long walls and generous spaces.
