Tail Feather Shake: Farmer Jo rued the day she taught the chooks burlesque 

Tail Feather Shake is a large, jubilant portrait-format abstract painting that fills the wall with movement and colour. Sweeping organic forms, bold yellow curves, a vivid green leaf, fluid white and beige shapes, are outlined in blue, red and green and set against a soft pale blue ground that keeps the whole composition light and airy despite its scale. Small scattered dots punctuate the surface, and the overlapping forms create a sense of joyful, barely-contained chaos.

Botanical and boisterous in equal measure, this is a painting with real presence, one that brings energy and warmth to any room it enters.
