Rooster Ruckus: The hens were mighty sick of the rooster’s nonstop shenanigans and were seriously considering clucking up a plan to run him out of town.

Rooster Ruckus is a large square abstract painting that fizzes with colour and barely contained energy. Fluid blue outlines define sweeping organic forms in green, amber-gold, orange and soft aqua against a pale ground, with jagged zigzag marks suggesting ruffled feathers and a bold red-orange wedge at the top right that could only be a comb. The composition moves with the loose confidence of something that knows it owns the yard — at least for now.

Set against a soft white-blue ground, the overlapping forms create a dynamic sense of movement and rhythm across the full square format.
