Anemone Guise: The dinner parties were unforgettable. Regrettably, the widowers had an unnerving tendency to disappear just before dessert.

Anemone Guise is an original abstract wall sculpture composed of three bevelled plywood tiles mounted on a single lightweight circular backing board. Bold sweeping brushstrokes of cobalt and navy blue radiate outward from a vivid golden yellow centre, layered over a pale aqua and white ground. Touches of teal add depth and contrast, while scattered dot accents and fine linear marks punctuate the surface throughout.

The round silhouette gives the piece a focused, self-contained energy that draws the eye to the luminous centre and holds it there.
