Absinthe Gelato is a playful exploration of colour, movement and texture. Sweeping strokes of emerald and mint green curve through the composition, layered with bold white brushwork and a striking splash of deep magenta. Soft, warm grey fields on either side provide a quiet contrast, punctuated by scattered mint, cream and white dots. A gently curved groove follows the movement of the brushwork, adding another dimension to the painting, while the interplay of translucent layers, scraped textures and rich colour gives the surface a lively sense of depth.
