Rosella Dive Bomb is a abstract painting with pure kinetic energy. A bold orange double-loop sweeps across the canvas in a great arc, enclosing two vivid turquoise pools, one teardrop, one arch, that glow against the warm interior. Electric yellow and navy blue gestural lines weave and drip through the composition, and scattered navy and yellow dots punctuate the white ground like aftershocks. The whole painting has the feeling of something arriving fast and making an immediate impression.
